Getting started with your OneKey
Own a OneKey? Open your model below. We explain how to confirm it is authentic, where to download the OneKey App, where the manufacturer's own manual lives and how to manage the backup, PIN code and firmware updates.
Never share your recovery phraseNobody at cryptomaan, BTC Direct or OneKey will ever request it, whether by email, phone or chat. And don't enter it when a site or app prompts you for it.
Download the OneKey App from onekey.so/download onlyAvoid finding the app through a search engine or an advert, as counterfeit apps that steal recovery phrases can appear there.

1Verify first
How to tell if your OneKey Pro is the real thing
- Look over the packaging: there should be no signs the box was opened or re-glued, the 'self-destruct' label should be undamaged and the holographic seal on the device should still be in place.
- Turn on the device: it should be brand new, with no PIN, recovery phrase or wallet.
- Connect it to the OneKey App and run the authenticity check: click the account name, select the hardware wallet, then 'Edit' > 'Device authentication', and confirm on the device.
- When the screen reads 'Verification successful', it's a genuine OneKey device. Broken seal, or the device has already been set up? Don't use it and contact OneKey support.
- Packaging seal
- Yes: a 'self-destruct' label on the box and a holographic seal on the device; the shrink wrap only offers protection and is not a mark of authenticity
- In the box
- 1 OneKey Pro, 1 USB-C cable, 3 recovery sheets
2Getting started
Only download the software fromonekey.so/download
- App
- OneKey App (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android and a browser extension for Chrome)
- Need a phone or computer?
- No for setup: the recovery phrase is generated offline on the device. Balances, transactions and the authenticity check require the OneKey App on a phone or computer
- Phone
- Android 8.0+, iOS 14.0+ and iPadOS 14.0+
- Computer
- Windows 10+, macOS 10.11+, Linux (Ubuntu 12.04+, Fedora 21+, Debian 8+)
3Backup and access
- Backup
- 12- or 24-word recovery phrase, written on the 3 included recovery sheets
- PIN code
- PIN code of 6 to 50 digits on the touchscreen, supplemented by a fingerprint; 5 incorrect PINs in a row reset the device. With 'Attach to PIN' (firmware 4.15.0+), a second PIN directly opens a hidden passphrase wallet
- Passphrase
- Yes; enable it on the device via Settings > Wallet > Passphrase. You type the passphrase in the OneKey App and confirm it on the device; 50 characters max (ASCII 32-126), stored nowhere. Every passphrase opens a separate hidden wallet
- Recovering in another wallet
- Recovery phrase is BIP39-compliant
Restoring, or forgot your code?
