Your private keys are maximally protected thanks to a certified EAL6+ secure chip, combining physical protection with fully open-source firmware for total transparency. Backup and recovery are effortless with the included microSD card. You can optionally display your backup as BIP-39 recovery words for manual storage on paper or steel.

The BitBox02 Nova supports both USB-C and optional Bluetooth Low Energy via Whisper, our minimalist BLE architecture. Whisper ensures end-to-end encrypted communication and runs on a separate chip with no access to your wallet secrets, maintaining full control without compromising security. All Bluetooth communication can be easily disabled if not needed.

Choose Your Edition: Bitcoin-only or Multi

The BitBox02 Nova is available in Midnight Black and Polar White and comes in two different editions that cannot be converted later:

• Bitcoin-only edition: Exclusively focused on Bitcoin, this edition removes support for other cryptocurrencies to reduce complexity and potential attack surfaces. Ideal for users who only use Bitcoin and prioritize simplicity.
• Multi edition: Store and protect Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) with ERC20 tokens, Cardano (ADA), Litecoin (LTC), and over 1500 additional tokens. Includes FIDO U2F for secure login to services like Google, GitHub, and Dropbox. Suitable for users managing multiple assets or looking for added authentication features.
